Interactive Healing--Health Care with Heart

Imagine healing that is whole, healing without complications or side-effects. Imagine experiencing a surge of happiness, an abundance of energy, and a renewed faith in life after your healing.

It has been decades since we have remembered this kind of healing. Yet, this is how it should be.  Ideally health care should be interactive, adaptive to each individual, and flexible. It should create an equal partnership between health professional and the person requiring assistance to heal.

This is how it will be again. Rekindled interest in holistic medicine is fanning the flames of a new frontier of integrative medicine.

Wholistic healing has never been lost or forgotten. It has quietly and doggedly continued to serve in obscurity behind the front page headlines of modern miracle cures, and high tech bio-research.

Passed from generation to generation many ancient holistic healing arts have been meticulously perfected through thousands of years of trial and error and intuitive perception. They have what modern medicine does not....a true understanding of who and what we are.

This higher understanding has led to the development of many newer therapies and techniques that encompass the philosophy that everything that exists is interconnected, multi-dimensional, and continually in motion. Interactive therapies use these naturally present elements to affect healing.

The majority of holistic therapies are based on interaction. What makes interactive therapies unique is that they are not done TO you or AT you. They are done WITH you. You participate in your own healing.

An interactive practitioner assists you to heal. This is done through maximizing the body’s own natural healing elements, or through removing emotional, energetic or metabolic blockages that are hampering the healing process.

Most Integrative therapies work on the energy or atomic levels of the body, since that is where the body’s own intelligence resides. Often we interpret illness or disease as an indication that something is wrong physically. But, illness is really an indication that the body is trying to adapt to changes that have taken place on either an emotional or psychological level.

Illness always begins first in thought and emotion. It filters down into physical form when unbalanced emotional and psychological states are ignored.

From a higher perspective, pain, suffering, and illness are important catalysts for transformation of thought and attitude. If you do not deliberately and actively participate in the healing process, how can the unhealthy thought and attitude be changed? If you allow something to be done TO you or AT you, you have merely found another way to avoid facing the core emotional issue. Superficial or symptomatic healing without removing the actual cause, dooms our illness and pain, or different variations of it, to return until we finally purge the thought pattern that has created it.

What can an Integrative healer do for you?

Healing therapies that optimize the body’s ability to heal itself are the hallmark of interactive healing therapies. Integrative practitioners simultaneously enliven all levels of being—mind, body and emotions, as necessary, and then assist and support your body through its transition. Integrative therapies generally aim for the atomic level, where consciousness resides and electrical impulses transmit commands to the body.

Sometimes a healing crisis will occur during or just after a treatment. This is a peaking or concentration of symptoms in order to permanently purge them. This crisis may take the form of an emotional release, temporary intensity of symptoms, or the surfacing and elimination of metabolic toxins. Immediately following a purge, very rapid recovery ensues, as well as increased energy and elevated spirits. ~~
