If it goes in your mouth record it!  You may be surprised by how much you actually consume and where you overindulge. Environmentally-friendly natural jewellry cleaner and tarnish remover.   Use a glass pie plate or cake pan.  Line it with Aluminum foil – crumpled up somewhat (shiny side UP).  Place your jewelry so that each piece touches the foil.  Boil 2 cups of water and remove from the stove.  Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda to the water.  Pour over the jewelry in the glass pan and let sit for about 5 minutes…  Remove items as they become clean.  Remove baking soda residue.  Dry and gently buff with a soft cloth.  Please be cautious with costume jewelry, etc.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK ALONE:  Without help, a person whose heart stops beating properly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough. The cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. And a cough must be repeated about every 2 seconds without let up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.  

Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

Maximize absorption of mineral supplements by taking with orange or cranberry juice rather than water.  Acidic liquids help to break down alkaline minerals. 


To get rid of lice safely on children or animals and leave the hair soft and shiny, simply use cheap hair conditioner containing coconut oil or paraben wax.  Apply thickly and leave on for 20 minutes.  Using a tight comb, brush through the hair thoroughly, pulling off the lice.  Dip the comb regularly in water containing tea tree oil.  Then rinse off the hair with water.  Optionally apply a strong tea made by boiling feverfew leaves in water for 20 minutes.  Cool and use as a final rinse.  Tea tree oil and lavender essential oil may also be added to the cooled feverfew tea.  Do not rinse off.


Natural insecticide can be made by making a strong tea made from feverfew leaves.  Boil the leaves in water for 20 minutes.  Cool and apply directly to plants.  Feverfew tea also adds minerals to the soil.  You may also plant feverfew around your garden to protect your plants.  Aphids and other plant-eating insects avoid the spicy-smelling plant. 


Here is a cheap way to nourish your face with vitamins.  Slice a strawberry in half.  Gently massage your face with it.  Wait 20 minutes and then rinse off with water.

Here is a cheap chemical-free way to clean your silverware.  Save the water used to boil your potatoes.  Line the bottom of a pan with aluminum foil.  Pour in the potato water.  Place your silverware on the foil for 5 minutes.  Rinse.

Microwaved water and other liquids get superheated but they do not always bubble when they reach boiling point.  But, when moved or disturbed, the liquid will bubble out of the cup.  Never heat any liquid for more than 2 minutes per cup.  Let stand for 30 seconds before stirring or adding anything.
